Herringbone weave pashmina shawls - Spoiler Alert!
Coming soon to a Home Page near you - the herringbone weave multi stripe in the 70 x 180cms Shawl size.
I don't know why this jacquard weave isn't appreciated more, as it always seems to produces shawls that have an unbelievable softness and depth. We used to stock plain herringbone weaves as a regular item for just this reason. The lovely texture that is produced by the chevron pattern as light hits the silk strands gives a real interest to a plain shawl. However, we found that it's very difficult to see this on-line!
The multi stripe version, combining the herringbone chevron with stripes in tonal or funky colours, highlights this weave at it's best and it can be photographed to show it!
It really suits that preppy chic look and that's why - although this is a great scarf design for women too - it's found on the Men's page and until now we've stocked the 45 x 180cms size.
As a Limited Edition for AW12/13 we've got a few available in the shawl size. The multi stripe really lightens up a casual outfit. My personal favourite is the Multi Dark colourway which has subdued shades of purple, tan, turquoise, taupe, lime and plum. It doesn't sound like it would work but it does!! Perfect with a blazer and skinny jeans to keep out the chill on winter mornings.

Pashmina dye colours for reference
Thanks to our customer Georgia, I realise that my blog of the different pashmina colours started so long ago that it has become quite a challenge to find what you are looking for!

We order our pashmina colours using a large colour chart that is standard among our suppliers. All our colours are ordered by the number on the chart (unless a customer has a specific Pantone reference to dye to). If you have a specific question about a colour in the drop down list, but not pictured on the hanging rail, email me on Info@pashminasdirect.co.uk
and I will refer you to this chart.
