I'll aim to re-blog the colours of all the four sizes of plain pashminas every couple of months, so that there's a reference point as our colours come and go. 

PLEASE NOTE: All our pashminas are hand-dyed;  every batch varies slightly as it relies on the judgement of the dye-master.      These colour number are not necessarily what we ordered, but are the numbers closest to the colour of the actual shawls in stock, when they are matched to the chart.

Pashmina dye colours for reference

Thanks to our customer Georgia, I realise that my blog of the different pashmina colours started so long ago that it has become quite a challenge to find what you are looking for!

We order our pashmina colours using a large colour chart that is standard among our suppliers. All our colours are ordered by the number on the chart (unless a customer has a specific Pantone reference to dye to). If you have a specific question about a colour in the drop down list, but not pictured on the hanging rail, email me on Info@pashminasdirect.co.uk and I will refer you to this chart.

We've just about recovered from the Jubilee and are thankful for our pashminas keeping off the rain. As a confirmed pashminaholic, I had a fantastic time spotting the range of cashmere (and other) shawls that had been brought out for the occasion. As a nation, we obviously knew that it was pay-back time for the glorious sunshine of the previous weekend.

We loved the elegance of the classic white wrap that Her Majesty wore during the flotilla, finished to perfection with a scalloped edge to match that pie-crust frill on her coat.
However, our favourite scarf was the silk tartan that the Duchess of Cambridge wore at the very end of the day. The autumnal shades of what seemed to be an Ancient Buchanan tartan glowed against the bright red of her outfit. It was a surprising mix that managed to be both elegant and have a youthful 'pop'

And away from the royals, but still prominently on our screens, another white shawl was seen on ITV's Tuesday coverage.  Battling the wind in a studio exposed to the elements, Julie Etchingham opted for a fine weave shawl when the going got tough.  White cashmere shawls really are an essential for any summer wardrobe.

Bargain Box Beauties - the return!

Finally we have something to show in our Bargain Box Beauties section!
This is an unusual item for us as we prefer to stick to cashmere, silk or a mix of the two.

This super large shawl is 60% Silk and 40% Metallic Lurex and is a bit of summer fun.  We only have one of each of these colours available - Gold or Paper White.
